My client is a fast-growing, global proprietary trading house, driven by data and technology. They act as a market maker, using their own capital to trade on global stock and derivatives exchanges. Their Paris team is looking for a Senior Single Stocks Options Trader with a proven successful track record to further expand their business.
This is a great opportunity to work in synergy with a diverse team of senior traders and contribute to running and expanding an already established and profitable equity desk, bringing their wider trading team to the next level.
You will be responsible for running a market-making book covering global exchanges and take a model-based / quantitative approach to trading on the EU, UK, and US markets. This to make sure you generate consistent and steady returns by applying a disciplined trading approach.
You will make markets, develop relationships and provide pricing to brokers and will be reporting to the Head of Desk / Business Partner.

Who are you?
You have obtained a degree in a STEM area (preferably from the leading French engineering schools) and you have at least 2-4 years of experience as a single stocks options trader, with a proven track record of consistent returns.
Possessing strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as experience using a model-based strategy to minimize risk is a must, as is a drive for results, competitiveness, discipline and decisiveness.
